How Verizon Connect and FleetWatcher Sync

AlignOps' FleetWatcher connector pulls vehicle data from your Verizon Connect account through Verizon's cloud API on a regular schedule, so there are no manual exports and no re-keying. Each Verizon vehicle comes into FleetWatcher as a virtual device. Once it's matched to a truck, it shows on the map and reports like any other FleetWatcher GPS device.

No. Data flows one way, from Verizon Connect into FleetWatcher. FleetWatcher doesn't write anything back to your Verizon account.

On standard Verizon Connect accounts, a renamed vehicle has to be re-matched to its FleetWatcher truck before it shows on the map again. Let your AlignOps team know when you rename vehicles and they'll re-match them. Verizon Connect Fleet accounts aren't affected.
