    What's New in ToolWatch...

We’ve rolled out a handful of updates to make your experience in ToolWatch even smoother. From usability improvements and clearer data filters to a familiar name making its return, these changes are all about helping you work faster and with more confidence. Here’s a quick look at what’s new in the latest release.

Welcome Back, ToolWatch

Nope, your eyes aren’t playing tricks on you: ToolWatch is back! The app formerly known as Align EAM is officially returning to its original name: ToolWatch.

This change is starting in the web app, where you’ll notice the familiar name and logo once again. And don’t worry—updates to the mobile app and app stores are on the way soon.

ToolWatch is the name our customers know, trust, and have built their operations around. So we're bringing it back and making it the flagship name for our asset management solution within the AlignOps family.

Nothing else is changing—your login, your data, and all your features are still right where you left them. Just with a name and logo that feel more like home.

New: Work Order Charges Report

We’ve added a new Work Order Charges Report to give you better visibility into the costs tied to each work order. Now, with just a few clicks, you can view a detailed breakdown of the charges associated with a specific work order.

This makes it easier to double-check internal billing, track costs across projects, or simply get a clearer picture of where your resources are going. Whether you're reconciling expenses or keeping clients in the loop, this report helps make sure nothing slips through the cracks.

Easier Actions in the Billing Browser

We’ve streamlined the way you interact with billing items in the Billing Browser. Instead of hunting for the small three-dot menu on each row, you can now simply right-click anywhere on a billing row to bring up the action menu.

Prefer to access actions from the top? There’s also a new dropdown action menu in the header that lets you apply actions more easily from one place.

This small change makes a big difference in speed and ease of use—so you can spend less time clicking and more time getting things done.

New Filter Indicator in Tables

Last quarter, we introduced persistent filters, so your filters stay in place even when you navigate away from a page. Now, we’ve made it easier to tell when filters are active.

You’ll now see a filter icon (yep, the little funnel!) in the column header, showing you how many filters are currently applied. If things look a little empty, that icon is your clue. You can also click it to clear all filters in one go.

It’s a small touch that helps you stay in control and never lose track of your data. The filter indicator can be found on the Catalog, Item Browser, Pick Tick, Transfer Ticket, Work Order and Purchase Order windows

That’s All for Now

We hope these updates make your ToolWatch experience even smoother. As always, we’re listening—so keep the feedback coming, and stay tuned for more improvements coming your way soon.
